Saints tie up North Final with Crusaders

Spruce Grove skates to 4-1 win in Game 4

The Spruce Grove Saints and Sherwood Park Crusaders are down to a best of three.

Last night at Grant Fuhr Arena, the Saints beat the Crusaders 4-1 to tie up the North Final at two games apiece.

After getting three powerplay goals in Game 3, the Saints scored another two in Game 4, thanks to captain TJ Lloyd and Jordan Biro.

Ryan Peckford and Stanley Cooley rounded off the scoring for the Saints, while Cameron Aucoin had the lone Crusader goal.

After losing Games 1 and 2, the Saints outscored Sherwood Park by a margin of 9-4 over the Games 3 and 4 on home ice.

Following the win, Head Coach Bram Stephen weighed in on what his team's focus will be heading into Game 5 away from the Grant Fuhr Arena.

Game 5 is set for Friday night in Sherwood Park, with Game 6 back in Spruce Grove Sunday.
