The Spruce Grove Saints improved their record to 21-5-0 on the weekend, as they swept their Southern Alberta road trip.

The Saints started their trip with a 4-1 win in Calgary over the Canucks on Friday. Jonathan Assay-egg scored his first as a Saint in the game, while Seth Fyten, Tanner Klassen and Ethan Edwards added goals of their own to seal the win. Maxence Duchesne stopped 23 shots to win his sixth game of the year.

After that they took down the Canmore Eagles 4-3 on Saturday night. It was a back and forth contest for the first two periods, and was tied 2-2 heading into the third. However, in the third Jordan Biro and Stanley Cooley scored two early goals which would hold up as the winner.

Sunday afternoon, the Saints finished off their road trip by making quick work of the Olds Grizzlies. Seth Fyten had four points including a hat trick, while Jordan Biro, Adam Hall and Ryan Peckford each had three points of their own. Matt Davis turned away 22 shots, as the Saints outshot Olds 56-23.
