Logan Lorenz coming from NAX academy
The Spruce Grove Saints have another young forward signed on for next season.
16-year-old Logan Lorenz has signed a letter of intent to play next season, and will come from the Northern Alberta Xtreme.
It's the same collegiate program that current Saints Nick Leyer, Jaxsen Wyatt, and Bruce MacGregor played for before coming to Spruce Grove.
This season, Lorenz has put up 11 goals and 34 points in 31 games, which is good for fourth in team scoring.
He and fellow 2002-born players Liam Hughes, Ethan Edwards, and Zach Douglas have all signed letters of intent for next season.
The Saints are back on the ice Friday night against the Drayton Valley Thunder.
Puck drop is at 7 pm, with the Game of the Week pregame show starting at 6:40.
