The Spruce Grove Saints have made two changes to their roster.

Spruce Grove native Brayden Nicholetts is heading to the Saints after a trade with the Drumheller Dragons yesterday. In return, Spruce Grove will send Bruce McGregor to the Dragons. Nicholetts hasn't played yet this season due to injury, but he impressed last season, putting up 39 points in 43 games. He has 32 goals and 40 assists in 131 AJHL games in his career, to go along with 370 penalty minutes.

The Saints also traded the rights to defenseman Jaxsen Wyatt to the Brooks Bandits for a development fee. Wyatt had 8 points in 10 games this year for the Saints before the trade.

Nicholetts will debut for his hometown team tomorrow night against the Whitecourt Wolverines.
