Team beats St. Albert, Westlock to wrap up regular season

The Parkland Posse junior lacrosse team is preparing for the playoffs.
 
The team wrapped up its regular season with a 19-4 beatdown of St. Albert on Friday, followed up by an 11-5 win in Westlock on Sunday.
 
Darin Callahan led the way on Sunday with four goals against the Rock, while Seth Bellerose, Ethan Sim, and Mitch McEwan all had two goals each in the victory.
 
Bellerose added six assists, and finished with a team-high eight points.
 
The wins clinched third place in the conference for the Posse, who will play the second-place Lakeland Heat in the opening round of the playoffs.
 
The best of three series will be played in Cold Lake, on July 6th and 7th.
