Parkland Posse split weekend action

Bantam, Midget teams medal at tournaments

The Parkland Posse junior lacrosse team is coming off a weekend split.
In Friday night's inaugural home opener, the Posse picked up a 12-11 win over the Westlock Rock.
Captain Ethan Sim had 4 goals, while River Scott scored the winner in the thrilling final minute of the game.
Sunday, the team suffered its first setback of the season, losing 14-3 to the Lloydminster Xtreme.
Sim, Scott, and Cole McCotter scored for Parkland, while Andrew Reierson faced 57 shots in goal.
Up next is a visit to St. Albert to face the Crude next Wednesday - May 22.
Meanwhile the Bantam A Posse came back from the Karsten Huth Memorial tournament in Kamloops, BC with a bronze medal win.
And the Midget B1 team snagged silver at the Ice Melter tournament in Cold Lake.
