Parkland Posse junior lacrosse team starts season with win

Posse beat Warriors in first-ever game for local Jr. B club

The Parkland Posse Jr. B lacrosse team is off to a nice start in its inaugural season.
 
The Posse beat the Edmonton Warriors 7-5 on Friday night at Southside Arena.
 
Goaltender Andy Reierson came up big for the Posse, while defender Mattias McEwan blocked eight shots.
 
Captains Ethan Sim and Nick Schmidt each had one goal and two assists, with River Scott also contributing two goals.
 
Next up for Parkland is a visit to Wainwright next Sunday, May 5th.
 
The Posse's home opener is set for Friday May 10, against the Westlock Rock at Grant Fuhr Arena.
