Former Saint signs contract extension with Wild

The Minnesota Wild have signed former Spruce Grove Saint Carson Soucy to a three-year extension.

The Viking, AB product agreed to a three-year, $8.25 million contract that will run through the 2022-23 season. He had seven goals and seven assists in 55 games during the 2019-2020 season and appeared in four playoff games while in the bubble this summer.

Before he committed to the University of Minnesota Duluth, he played with the Saints from 2012 to 2013, picking up 15 points in 42 games.
