On Friday night, the Flyers faced off against the St. Albert Merchants and fell 5-1. Penalty trouble was the killer for Stony Plain in the game, as the Merchants took advantage of their opportunities to the tune of three powerplay goals. The Flyers ended the game with 44 penalty minutes. Noah Wiens stopped 24 of 28 shits before being pulled. Braden Hapgood game in in relief and let in one goal on two shots.

On Saturday night, the Flyers offense came alive against the Spuce Grove Regals. Brennan Franks had two goals, while Jacob Pink added a goal and two assists to help lead their team to a 7-5 barn burner victory. Branden Smith and Logan Perry also had two points apiece for the Flyers. Stony Plain peppered the Spruce Grove net, putting up 47 shots.

The Flyers now sit in third place in their division after the weekend.
