AJHL Playoffs suspended due to Covid-19

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the AJHL and rest of the CJHL have suspended operations.

The 2020 AJHL playoffs have been suspended due to the Covid-19 Outbreak.

The decision was made and announced on Thursday by Hockey Canada to suspend all CJHL operations. This includes games and events put on by all 10 leagues that make up the AJHL, as well as the four regional championships (Fred Page Cup; Dudley-Hewitt Cup; ANAVET Cup; Doyle Cup) and the Centennial Cup Canadian National Junior A Championship which is scheduled to take place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba in May.

Safety of the players, employees, staff and fans was stated as the main reason for the suspension. The CJHL and Hockey Canada will provide more updates as they come available.
