Wheeling for Wellness initiative running in Wabamun

The initiative aims to encourage cycling as a tool to promote mental health while increasing community awareness and safety.

The Wheeling for Wellness Initiative runs today in Wabamun.

To support active transportation in Parkland County, students in Grades 4 - 12 are participating in one of three Wheeling for Wellness cycling clinics. The initiative aims to encourage cycling as a tool to promote mental health while increasing community awareness and safety.

Three, one-day cycling clinics are being hosted in the communities of Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Wabamun. Clinics will be lead by Ever Active Schools and local experienced cycling enthusiasts.

The event runs from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Wabamun School. Participants will receive a free lunch and t-shirt.
