Update: Police charge suspect in 7-Eleven robbery

RCMP still looking for second man involved

Update (May 10):

Parkland RCMP have charged one of the men involved in an armed robbery back in March.
 
Early in the morning on March 19, two men - one of whom had a knife - robbed the Spruce Village 7-Eleven in Spruce Grove.
 
The clerk wasn't injured in the incident, but the men took off with cash and cigarettes. 
 
Police say 19-year-old Talon Bauer was arrested and charged with Robbery with an Offensive Weapon.
 
He's been released following a preliminary hearing, with a court date set for May 22.
 
The RCMP says it's still trying to identify the second suspect.

 

Original (March 20):

Local RCMP are looking to identify two men involved in a robbery yesterday morning in Spruce Grove.  

Police say two men entered the Spruce Village Way 7-Eleven at around 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday, demanding cash and cigarettes while one suspect brandished a knife.

The clerk was not injured in the incident, but the men were able to leave in an unidentified vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

The first suspect is described as a white man, around 6’5” tall, wearing a black hoodie with white writing, blue jeans, tan work boots, and a camo scarf covering his face.

RCMP say the other suspect is a white man, about 5’5” tall, wearing a black hoodie with red writing, a light red jacket with black patches on the shoulder, black pants, dark boots, and a black scarf covering his face.
