Two voting stations open this week

A local candidate is being chosen this week to represent the United Conservative Party in next year's provincial election.

The UCP's Spruce Grove-Stony Plain Constituency is holding elections for a candidate today and tomorrow.

Searle Turton, Jerry Semen, and Matthew Clarke are the three nominees who are in the running to represent the party in the next election.

Thursday's vote happens between 4 and 8 pm at Elks Hall in Spruce Grove, while Friday's runs from 11 am to 3 pm at the Best Western in Stony Plain.

The vote is only open to current members of the party, who bought memberships on or before November 9.
