Two Men Arrested Following a Break and Enter Attempt

Local RCMP have charged two in an attempted break and enter.

On January 19th, RCMP received report of a break and enter in progress.

Two men were attempting to break into an attached garage when they were caught by the home owner. The two males then fled on foot without incident.

When RCMP arrived, Police Dog Services were called in to assist. They would successfully track the males which led to both males being located and arrested.

Now, 26 year old Ronnie House and 18 year old Russell Rain of Duffield, Alberta have both been charged with two counts of Break and Enter with Intent, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Possession of Break-In Instruments.

Both men are expected to appear in court on February 14th.
