The town is adding its 36th mural to the exterior of the Good Samaritan Society building.
The Town of Stony Plain is looking for artists to create a new mural to be added to the outside of the local Good Samaritan Society building.
The Good Samaritan Society has partnered with the town’s Murals Program, to fund the design and painting of the project.
Chantelle Laberge, Culture and Tourism Development Officer, says the recommended themes are a music scene from Kelly’s hall, a farming scene, a wedding or community event, or a piece honoring the pioneers of Stony Plain.
She says these ideas came up because the GSS considers their past and present residents in their long-term care homes to be local pioneers.
