The Town's event focuses on celebrating community.
Stony Plain is looking for a new way to celebrate community and will host its first-ever Neighbours Day in a few weeks.
The idea is to have people invite 10 or more of their neighbours to an event on September 21, which can include things as big as a block party, and as small as a group walk.
The day will kick off in Shikaoi Park at 9:00 a.m. with coffee, cinnamon buns, and Mayor William Choy.
As well, the Town's Poet Laureate Lisa Mulrooney is producing a unique poem for the day
Stony Plain FCSS has Neighbours Day kits and lawn signs available for everyone who wants to participate.
