St. Albert RCMP Investigate Construction Site Theft

RCMP are looking into the theft of equipment values in excess of $60,000 from a construction site.

Between the evening of January 16th and the morning of January 17th, a large amount of equipment was stolen from a construction site at the intersection of Coal Mine Road and St. Albert Trial.

It is still unclear how many suspects gained access to the site, but they proceeded to steal a large utility trailer with the license plate BPR7244. The trailer contained two custom made dollies which are used to transport houses and other large structures. Additionally, attachments for the dollies, twelve lengths of Angle Iron and approximately 500 ft of welding cable and copper were also stolen.

At this time, the RCMP ask anyone purchasing construction equipment to proceed with caution until the investigation is complete.
