St. Albert RCMP Investigate Attempted Shoplifting

RCMP are trying to identify a man who tried to leave a store with a cart full of merchandise.

RCMP are attempting to locate a man involved in an attempted theft.

On March 15th, at approximately 7:15 p.m., an unknown male entered Superstore on St. Albert Trail. The man then attempted to leave the store with a cart full of merchandise without paying.

A security guard then stopped the man, but the suspect fled to a waiting vehicle. The amount of merchandise was valued at $2,500.

The man is described as approximately 30 years old standing 6'2" tall with a slender build.

St. Albert RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating the male.
