Spruce Grove staff developing bylaw with options regarding face coverings

The draft bylaw will be reviewed on August 17th.

Spruce Grove City Council has asked its administration to develop a bylaw that would make face coverings mandatory in the region.

During Tuesday's online meeting, Council was presented with information and the results from a public survey on face coverings.

Upon reviewing the information, Council directed Administration to come back with a bylaw that includes options for a staged approach to potentially implement mandatory face coverings.

The draft bylaw will return to Council for further consideration at the next online meeting later this month.
