The program promotes safe travels this holiday season
November 15th marked the start of the red ribbon project hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
The project is in place to promote sober driving this holiday season.
With the holiday season around the corner, many will be out travelling to see friends and family, with the increased traffic on roads means more chances to see impaired drivers.
Brenda Johnson is the president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving Parkland and she gave a few tips to stay safe this winter season.
The red ribbon is a symbol of the wearers commitment to sober driving as well as a tribute for those who lost loved ones in impairment related accidents.
