RCMP Partner With TLC To Lead to Three Arrests

An investigation to address theft at the TLC led to three arrests.

Over the past month a partnership was formed with the Tri-Leisure Centre and Spruce Grove/Stony Plain RCMP to address theft of personal belongings at the TLC.

By using "bait" items, "bait" lockers and various investigative techniques three people were arrested and charged with a total of 20 charges:

  • 23 year old Coady Blenkhorn of Spruce Grove will appear in Stony Plain Court on April 11th
  • 25 year old Rebecca Cardinal of Edmonton will appear in Stony Plain Court on March 28th
  • 50 year old Lorraine Cardinal was remanded into custody and will appear in Stony Plain Court on March 28th.

The RCMP made note of the hard work of the TLC staff and management during the investigation. The RCMP hopes they can look forward to a continued partnership with the TLC in an effort to reduce crime in our community.

RCMP also urge victims of theft at the TLC to report the incident to local RCMP or the staff at the TLC.
