Family believes search efforts have found clue.

The family of Ashley Bourgeault believes their search efforts may have found a clue.

Bourgeault disappeared with her boyfriend, Dominic Neron of Spruce Grove, when Neron's single engine plane vanished on November 25th, 2017 after taking off from Penticton, British Columbia en route to Edmonton.

The family says a drone flown in the Revelstoke area captured an image of what the family believes to be the word "HELP" scrawled into snow on the west side of Cougar Mountain, located in Rogers Pass.

The Revelstoke RCMP have confirmed they are following up on the photograph though add the area had been searched by previous efforts to find the couple.  Poor weather prevented any follow up on Friday, but as soon as weather permits a helicopter will be sent out to follow up on the new development in the search.
