Police tracking down puppy owner in St. Albert

Dog found after string of break and enters

St. Albert RCMP are trying to track down the owner of a lost puppy.

Thursday morning at about 8:20, police got multiple calls related to break and enters in the area of Grandin Road and Levassour Road.

Once there, officers found a stolen SUV with stolen property, including a puppy.

The dog doesn't belong to the SUV owner, and was taken to the Morinville Vet Clinic.

Police used the SUV to chase down a suspect through a handful of backyards in the neighbourhood, but weren't able to catch them.

Anyone with information on the B-and-E's or the puppy's owner is asked tp contact police or Crime Stoppers.
