Plane wreck involving Edmonton-area couple found

Wreckage found 10 months after crash in BC

Wreckage of a missing plane carrying an Alberta couple has been located in the southern interior of BC.

RCMP said the plane was found on Monday, when a BC Ambulance Service helicopter crew spotted the wreckage near Revelstoke.

The missing four-passenger plane left Penticton on November 25th, 2017, and was headed for Edmonton.

28-year-old Dominic Neron from Spruce Grove and his girlfriend, 31-year-old Ashley Bourgeault from Edmonton, were on board.

Remains have been found at the site, as the BC Coroners now work to identify Neron and Bourgeault.

Police noted that the families have been very active in the area using drones, seeking tips from the public and searching various areas.
