Darin Edward Jenkins of St. Albert and Andrew James Kemp of Edmonton face various charges following armed robberies in Wabamun and Vegreville in 2018.
Parkland RCMP has arrested two men who were involved in multiple armed robberies back in 2018.
Police say on July 3 at around 11:00 p.m., three masked suspects entered the Wabamun Hotel Bar and committed an armed robbery with two guns.
RCMP and Edmonton Police Service carried out a lengthy investigation and were able to identify the men involved in the incident. Officers also discovered that the pair were responsible for the armed robbery that occurred at the Garden Inn in Vegreville on June 13.
The third male suspect involved in the Wabamun robbery remains unidentified.
Darin Edward Jenkins (37) of St. Albert was arrested on May 3, while Andrew James Kemp (32) of Edmonton was arrested on May 24. The pair both face several firearm charges, as well as charges for disguising themselves while committing an offense. Kemp was also charged with two counts of theft over $5000.
Jenkins and Kemp were both remanded into custody. They will have subsequent court appearances, first on June 24 in Vegreville and second on June 26 in Stony Plain.
