The food bank has been hard at work preparing for the fall in the chance that COVID-19 benefit programs stop.

Even though summer months can be a source of relaxation, the Parkland Food Bank Society is already planning for a busy fall.

While the monthly hamper program has been steady during the pandemic, the food bank has been hard at work preparing for the fall in the chance that the CERB and other COVID-19 benefit programs stop.

"We're really preparing and expecting a very busy fall. We are definitely asking the community for monetary support" said Sheri Ratsoy, the executive director of the Parkland Food Bank Society.
