The interactive map was released this week. No schools in Parkland County have declared outbreaks so far.

An online map showing how many COVID-19 cases confirmed in schools across the province was released this week.

The interactive map allows the public to view case numbers that are split into two that show one as an alert, while 2 or more would be classified as an outbreak.

So far there have been 24 positive cases of the virus in 21 different schools, but are based on community transmission.

There have been no reported outbreaks in Parkland County, Spruce Grove, or Stony Plain schools so far.

The map is updated daily, a change from the original plan of Monday, Wednesday and Friday updates.
