Multiple Arrests Made in Connection to Robberies

Suspects apprehended in Alberta Beach area.

The Stony Plain/Spruce Grove/Enoch RCMP have made arrests and laid charges in connection to a series of three armed robberies occurring on October 16th, 2017 in Alberta Beach and Gunn.

In connection to the robberies, 21 year old Tyrell Dennis House is facing 11 criminal charges including robbery and several weapons offences while 18 year old Bailey Rain faces seven criminal charges with robbery and weapons offences.  While House and Rain were arrested, the RCMP also issued warrants for 29 year old Rosaline Potts of Alexis First Nation and a youth who cannot be named.  As of Friday, Potts was arrested without incident in the Alberta Beach area without incident.

The robberies in question were under investigation by the Stony Plain GIS Unit, with the RCMP crediting the public in locating the vehicle connected to the robberies by eye witnesses for the swift outcome.

At this time, a connection hasn't been made between the Gunn/Alberta Beach robberies with earlier robberies in Calmar and Millet though RCMP services are now coordinating investigations.
