RCMP are looking for a Jeep Wrangler involved in a hit and run with a pedestrian.
Stony Plain RCMP are investigating and asking for the public's assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run collision.
On March 8th at approximately 3:00 pm, RCMP responded to a collision at the intersection of 35th Street and Boulder Boulevard. An 18 year old female was crossing the street at the cross walk when a Jeep Wrangler ran a red light and struck the teenager.
The Wrangler proceeded to turn south on 35th Street. It is described as a newer model two door Wrangler which is light grey in colour. The driver is believed to be an elderly Caucasian woman with grey hair.
The girl who was struck was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The RCMP are asking the driver of the vehicle to come forward and report the collision to the police.
At this time, they are still actively investigation the situation.
