A local man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges after attempting to flee from police on October 31st.
A local man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges after attempting to flee from police.
On October 31st at 2AM, police attempted to pull over 32-year-old Daniel Harris for a routine traffic stop. He then proceeded to recklessly drive away, and hit two police cars. Officers used a spike belt to stop his vehicle and apprehended Harris.
The Parkland resident has been charged on two counts of assault of Peace Officer, along with one count of resisting arrest, flight from an officer and dangerous driving. He was remanded in police custody and will make his first court appearance in court on November 6th.
