Anyone who boards a bus will have to wear a mask.
Starting tomorrow, face coverings will be required on all Spruce Grove Transit routes.
The decision was made by the Emergency Management Agency after the City of Edmonton announced that all transit users will have to wear masks.
For those who try to board a bus without one, City of Spruce Grove's Jennifer Hetherington says a temporary mask will be given out.
"A very limited supply of masks will be available on the Spruce Grove local routes (Route 568) for those who board without a face covering."
The only people exempt from this are children under the age of two and those with underlying health conditions.
Most drive-thrus in the region have run out of free masks, but local pharmacies and select gas stations have some in stock.
