The goal of the program is to keep nature pure
The Edmonton and Area Land Trust is celebrating 10 years of conservation in the Edmonton region.
EALT works to benefit wildlife and people as well as keeping all natures values, one of the newer areas is 100 acres of land in Parkland County.
Stephanie Weizenbach is the Outreach Coordinator with the program and says the Parkland area is a hidden gem with many different species of wildlife.
Hundreds of EALT volunteers have logged over 13 thousand hours, as well as bravely removing 40km of rusty barbed wire to improve the wildlife habitat.
