Downtown Redevelopment work is 20 days behind

Large amounts of rain to blame, says the Town.

The Town of Stony Plain says the constant rainy conditions we’ve seen this summer has pushed back work on the Downtown Redevelopment project.

The Town puts the site at about 20 days behind the original schedule.

Phase II between 54 and 52 Avenue is expected to be wrap-up by the end of the month, while Phase III between 52 and 51 Avenue is estimated to be completed to a bottom layer of asphalt by the end of October. That work will depend on the weather.
