Downtown redevelopment rolls on in Stony Plain

Sidewalk removal starts Tuesday

Downtown redevelopment work is continuing in Stony Plain next week.
Sidewalks will be removed along 52 Avenue, from Main Street to the back alleys.
That work will start on Tuesday, if the weather allows for it.
The Town says crews will lay plywood pedways along that stretch to allow businesses to be accessible.
As well, the paving along 49th Street in front of Rotary Park has been finished.
Crews have also painted the lines, so the road is fully open to traffic.
