Devon child finds pins in tampered Halloween candy

RCMP trying to find source of bad candy

Devon RCMP are investigating after a trick or treater found pins hidden in their candy.

Just after 9 pm on Halloween night, police were called after a child found a pin in three different items: A marshmallow candy, a Starburst, and an unsealed bag of Cheezies.

The pins are described as straight with curved tops.

Police believe all three came from the same house, and say this is the only complaint they've received so far.

If anyone else experienced something similar, you're asked to report it to police.

It's not clear yet which home or neighbourhood the tainted candy came from.
